Phemthrive is an independent, educational website about menopause and hormone health. For the purposes of data-protection law, Phemthrive is the "data controller" for the small amount of information described here. You can reach us any time at [your contact email].

Browsing the site

Reading these pages collects no personal information about you. We place no cookies on your device, use no tracking pixels or fingerprinting, and make no attempt to identify you or follow you to other websites. Our fonts are served from this site itself, so loading a page doesn't hand your details to any outside company.

Anonymous traffic statistics

To understand roughly how many people visit and which pages are read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service chosen specifically because it uses no cookies and collects only aggregate, anonymous figures — things like total page views, the general country a visit came from, and which site referred it.

This information cannot identify you, is not tied to a profile, and is never used to track you across other websites. We rely on it only as a count of general interest in the site, under our legitimate interest in understanding whether the resource is useful.

If you sign up for updates

Our one optional feature that involves personal data is the email update list. If you choose to subscribe, we collect your email address and nothing else, and we use it only to email you when there's a significant update or late-breaking news for the site. Signing up is always your choice (your consent is the legal basis), and you can change your mind at any time.

• We never sell, rent, or share your address.
• Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
• You can ask us to delete your address entirely, at any time, by emailing us.
• We keep your address only until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.

The list is managed for us by [your email provider], which stores the addresses on our behalf and is contractually bound to protect them and use them for nothing else.

Technical data our host processes

Like every website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information — such as IP addresses and the page requested — in order to deliver pages and protect against abuse and attacks. We don't use this to identify or track you, and we don't build any personal database from it. This limited, security-related processing rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and safe.

We never sell or share your data

No advertisers. No data brokers. No exceptions. The only time we would ever disclose information is if we were legally required to by a valid legal process — and given how little we hold, there is almost nothing to disclose.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can contact us to ask what we hold about you (in practice, only an email address if you've subscribed) and to have it corrected or deleted. If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Union, or another region with comprehensive privacy laws, you also have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have it corrected or erased;
• restrict or object to how we use it;
• withdraw consent (for the email list) at any time; and
• receive a copy of it in a portable format.

Visitors outside the United States

Phemthrive is operated from the United States, and our service providers (our host and email provider) may store data in the United States or other countries. Where personal data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses. Because we collect so little — at most an email address you've given us — the data leaving any region is minimal.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us their email address, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and revise the date below. Because our whole approach is to collect almost nothing, we don't expect major changes.
